Online PDF editing FAQ

Is this online PDF editor free?

Yes. The current editor can be used without an account and exports PDFs without requiring payment.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. PDF opening, editing and export run in your browser. Anonymous page analytics and feedback are separate from your document and do not include PDF content.

Can I edit text that is already in a PDF?

The editor recognizes text objects and groups them into editable paragraphs where the PDF structure allows it. Scanned pages and some embedded or subset fonts may not support direct text replacement.

Can I add signatures, images and annotations?

Yes. You can draw or upload a signature, insert PNG or JPEG images, and add highlights, underlines, rectangles, arrows and freehand marks.

Does the editor turn every page into an image?

No. Added text, images and vector annotations are written into the PDF. Strong compression is a separate optional mode that can rasterize pages.
